This fine little museum interprets the culture and history of the Slate Belt area. Housed in a Landmark 1836 building, permanent displays include

Throughout the season a number of special exhibits are also featured, and the several family events include a great Autumn Arts and Crafts Festival.There are no formal School Programs, but Museum staff will work with teachers to make a class visit a rewarding and memorable experience.

Hours: Open from Memorial Day to last Sunday in September, weekends 1 - 5pm. Other hours for groups by appointment.

Admission: FREE. Donations appreciated.

Group Reservations: 2 weeks.

Handicapped: Partial.

Directions: Rt. 611 North to Mt. Bethel. Museum is just north of Rt. 512 intersection.

Time: 90 - 120 minutes north of Philadelphia.
