The 35-acre campus of the American College has been carefully developed as an arboretum for nearly 40 years. The College's beautiful buildings, designed by renowned architect, Aldo Giurgola, are positioned to create a frame of open space, accented by a small interior valley with a pond.

To date the inventory includes about 600 trees of a wide variety of species. Each tree is labeled, making identification easy for students. As well as for study, visitors use the Arboretum for a pleasant stroll through beautiful grounds or to enjoy a picnic. Twice per month a special Arboretum Program is offered to individual adults. Groups, including School Groups, can arrange an educational program at other times. Call for further details.
