With 27 original buildings on 100 acres of open land, Richmondtown Restoration is a historic village and museum complex interpreting three centuries of daily life and culture on Staten Island. Visitors can follow the evolution of Richmond from its beginnings as a rural crossroad, through its development as a County seat, to its incorporation as a borough and suburb of the City of New York. Relocated buildings show the story of agriculture, commercial, and coastal Staten Island.
