This neat museum is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State's distinguished, two-century aviation and space heritage. The men and women whose outstanding aeronautical achievements have brought world-wide recognition to the state are enshrined in the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame. Visitors can tour the gallery to learn about these brave-hearted individuals.

The NJAHOF offers visitors an opportunity to view historic air and space equipment and artifacts, photographs, fine art, and an extensive model collection. Some of the exciting exhibits include:

  • A restored M.A.S.H unit and helicopter
  • A Cobra Gunship on display
  • A newly restored OV1 Grumman Mohawk

This is a great place for Shool Groups -- the tours are educational and fun. Kids love it. Adults will also enjoy themselves, exploring the world of aeronautics, past and present. Education programs are age-appropriate and feature a guided Museum tour and an introduction to basic aerodynamic theory taught by experienced pilots and educators. Students build their own gliders from raw materials and hold a flight competition.
